Garmin — full integration, best support
Garmin connects directly to Intervals.icu without any middleware. The sync is bidirectional: workouts flow from the watch to Intervals.icu automatically, and structured workouts planned in Intervals.icu push to the watch.
HRV Status, Body Battery, training load, and VO2max estimations are all available in Intervals.icu. This is the most complete data pipeline of any watch brand on the platform.
Every recorded activity appears in Intervals.icu within minutes of syncing the watch to the Garmin app.
Structured interval workouts built in Intervals.icu sync directly to the watch for all Garmin models.
HRV Status, Body Battery, stress score, and sleep data all sync natively — key inputs for recovery analysis.
Garmin's training load and VO2max estimate complement Intervals.icu's own CTL/ATL/TSB metrics.
Amazfit / Zepp — native, strong value
Amazfit has native integration with Intervals.icu through the Zepp platform. After authorization, workouts sync automatically within a few minutes of completing an activity. Wellness data — sleep, SPO2, stress — and HRV (rMSSD) are available when enabled in the Intervals.icu settings.
Amazfit covers most of what Garmin offers at a significantly lower price point. The main limitation is workout push: only T-Rex 3 Pro and Balance 2 support receiving planned workouts from Intervals.icu.
Connect Amazfit once in Intervals.icu settings — all subsequent workouts sync automatically without any manual action.
HRV (rMSSD), sleep score, SPO2, and stress data available — must be enabled manually in the Amazfit connection settings.
All major endurance sports recorded on Amazfit sync correctly with sport-specific fields preserved.
Amazfit watches cost significantly less than comparable Garmin models while delivering similar data coverage in Intervals.icu.
Workout push: Available on T-Rex 3 Pro and Balance 2. Intervals.icu automatically uploads planned workouts for the next 7 days. Open the Zepp app on your phone to sync them to the watch.
Other brands and edge cases
Polar, COROS, and Suunto all connect directly. Apple Watch still needs a bridge app, while Wahoo still goes through Strava.
Polar
Polar connects directly to Intervals.icu. Workouts and heart rate data sync automatically. Training load metrics are available. Wellness data is limited compared to Garmin or Amazfit, and there is no workout push to the watch.
COROS
COROS connects directly to Intervals.icu. Workouts sync automatically, basic wellness data is available, and planned workouts can be pushed back to the watch. Some fields still depend on what COROS exposes through its API.

Apple Watch
Apple Watch still has no direct connection to Intervals.icu. Use HealthFit or RunGap to send workouts into Intervals.icu. Strava can work as a fallback, but it should not be the main path.
Wahoo
Wahoo cycling computers sync via Strava. Workout data transfers correctly for cycling. No wellness data and no workout push support.
